  • Jacksonville Running Co. to open at Bartram Park

    Jacksonville, Fla. -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has leased retail space in Jacksonville, Fla., at Shoppes at Bartram Park to Jacksonville Running Co.

    Specializing in the sale of running footwear and apparel, Jacksonville Running Co. has leased 1,600 sq. ft., bringing the center to 94% leased.

    The tenant is slated to open for business in the spring.

    The 119,376-sq.-ft. shopping center is anchored by Publix alongside The UPS Store, Massage Envy, Five Guys Burgers and Fries and Panera Bread.

  • Tony’s New York Style Pizza to open at Johns Creek Center

    Jacksonville, Fla. -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has leased retail space in Jacksonville at Johns Creek Center to Tony’s New York Style Pizza.

    The local pizzeria will open a 1,600-sq.-ft. restaurant in March 2011, and brings the center to 93% leased.

    The 75,100-sq.-ft. shopping center is anchored by Publix alongside Great Clips, H&R Block and Bank of America.

  • Shoe Carnival to open at Village Shoppes at Gainesville

    Gainesville, Ga. -- The Atlanta office of Dallas-based SRS Real Estate Partners said that Shoe Carnival recently opened a 9,165-sq.-ft. store in Gainesville, Ga., in the Village Shoppes at Gainesville.

    Neighboring retailers include Marshalls, Ross Dress for Less, Old Navy and Publix.

    The landlord of the center is Inland US Management, LLC.

  • Publix to open at Aloma Shopping Center

    Winter Park, Fla. -- Orlando, Fla.-based Crossman & Co. said that Publix will open a new store at Aloma Shopping Center, in Winter Park, Fla., on Nov. 18.

    The original store was demolished last April and the newly constructed store has been expanded by more than 5,000 sq. ft. The new 47,000-sq.-ft. facility includes a liquor store.

    Crossman & Co. has been overseeing the redevelopment of the property and handles the leasing and management at the shopping center. 

  • Pine Tree Commercial expands shopping center portfolio

    Northbrook, Ill. -- Pine Tree Commercial Realty announced it has acquired Loch Leven Plaza in the Orlando, Fla. suburbs, expanding Pine Tree’s portfolio to include the state of Florida.

    The company purchased the Publix-anchored shopping center in Mt. Dora, Fla., on Nov. 5. Pine Tree will be handling the property management and leasing for the center.

    Publix occupies 54,340 sq. ft. at the new plaza and opened last May. The center, which was completed in March, is 99% leased.
