  • Kohl's targets millennials with Madden Girl

    Kohl’s is giving its millennial customers some exciting new cold weather merchandise to think about as the fall season gets well under way.

    The retailer is debuting the Madden Girl collection, featuring fashion, cold weather boots, accessories and outerwear. The collection will be available Oct. 15 in Kohl’s stores and on Kohls.com. The assortment will include the brand’s cold weather boots as well as exclusive designs for the fall season.

  • Kohl’s kicks up omnichannel efforts; piloting same-day delivery

    Kohl’s has been busy on the omnichannel front during 2015, and the retailer is now taking its efforts into high gear.

    On Tuesday, the retailer announced several new omnichannel shopping tools, and said it will also pilot same-day delivery in select markets.

  • London is calling shoppers to Kohl's

    Kohl’s is bringing the fashions of London to its stores with its latest designer collaboration.

    The retailer has teamed up with designer Thakoon on a fashion collection now available at Kohl’s stores nationwide and Kohls.com called Thakoon for DesigNation. The one-of-a-kind, limited-edition, limited-time collection features Thakoon Panichgul’s signature style inspired by one of his favorite cities, London.

    Menomonee Falls, Wis. – Kohl’s Department Stores is helping consumers have a very omnichannel holiday season.

    The retailer will provide the option to buy items online and pick up in store at all stores nationwide with premier, designated parking for customers picking up their purchases.

  • Kohl's aims to be the place for holiday toys

    Kohl’s is looking to get a leg up on the competition this holiday season with an early lineup of the hottest toys this December.

    The retailer’s top toys for the holiday season include an exclusive assortment from Star Wars and trusted national brands, including Barbie, Fisher-Price and Melissa & Doug.

  • Kohl's board gains workforce expertise

    Kohl's Corp. is adding some labor market expertise to its board.

    The retailer says Jonas Prising has been elected as a new board member, effective immediately. He has been elected to a term expiring at Kohl's 2016 annual shareholders meeting and will be eligible for re-election by Kohl's shareholders at that time. He will initially serve on the Board of Directors' Governance and Nominating Committee.

  • Staffing executive joins Kohl’s board

    Menomonee Falls, Wis. – Jonas Prising, CEO of staffing firm ManpowerGroup, has joined the board of directors of Kohl’s Corp. Prising will initially serve on the board of directors' Governance and Nominating Committee.

    Prising has been elected to a term expiring at Kohl's 2016 annual shareholders meeting and will be eligible for re-election by Kohl's shareholders at that time.
     

  • Dismal Q2 for Kohl’s

    New York -- It’s been a rough week for department stores.

    Kohl’s Corp. joined Macy’s and Dillard’s this week in reporting disappointing earnings and weak same-store sales growth.

    Kohl’s posted a profit of $130 million in the second quarter ended Aug. 1, down from $232 million in the prior-year quarter.
