    The retailer is teaming up with Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment and Google Maps to turn city streets into monster tracking courses ahead of the May 19 launch of Warner Brothers and CD PROJEKT RED’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

  • Study assesses mobile, wearable tech impact on retail

    New York -- Thirty percent of consumers either own or plan to buy a wearable device in the next 12 months, and 34% of those consumers want wearable technology to make their lives easier – and that includes shopping. Those are among the findings of a new study by PowerReviews, a ratings and reviews provider.

  • ChannelAdvisor names new CEO

    ChannelAdvisor Corp. has promoted its current chief operating officer to CEO.

    The provider of cloud-based e-commerce solutions announced that its board of directors has appointed David Spitz as CEO and a director. Spitz, who currently serves as president and COO, succeeds Scot Wingo, who has been appointed executive chairman.

  • GE Lighting, Qualcomm to transform store experience with connected lighting

    East Cleveland, Ohio -- GE Lighting and Qualcomm Atheros, a subsidiary of Qualcomm Inc., have announced a collaboration to bring indoor positioning technology to retailers, allowing the retailers to pinpoint shoppers’ locations and use mobile apps to personalize the in-store experience.
