    Baskin-Robbins is making sure its customers get their ice cream fix exactly when they crave it.   On July 6, the quick service company launched a service that enables customers in 22 cities to order ice cream online and have it delivered in under an hour. Through its partnership with DoorDash, Baskin-Robbins shoppers can order a variety of frozen treats — from pre-packed quarts to sundaes — either online or via the DoorDash mobile app. The app is available for Android and iOS devices.

    A futuristic delivery service is now up and running in two U.S. cities.   Six-wheeled robots that are a little under 2 ft. tall and travel at walking speed are delivering food in conjunction with Postmates in Washington, D.C., and DoorDash in Redwood City, Calif., according to a report by Recode.   
  • Dunkin’ runs on DoorDash

    Americans – in particular, some New Yorkers – can continue to run on Dunkin’, as the donut purveyor forged a partnership to offer delivery to select areas of Brooklyn and Manhattan.   Dunkin' Delivery will be offered through on-demand delivery service DoorDash, which through the DoorDash app or website will allow customers to order with a tap or click from home or work. Delivery time is 45 minutes or less.
