    It appears that Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is starting to making progress in its turnaround efforts.

    Helped by a less promotional stance and cost cuts, the teen retailer saw its profit more than double in its third quarter as it beat expectations. But similar to many other retailers, Abercrombie struck a cautious note and said it expects fourth-quarter same-store sales to be about flat.

    Hamilton Township, N.J. -- IP Associates announced it has executed an agreement with Regal Entertainment Group to anchor Independence Plaza located in Hamilton, New Jersey. The announcement comes on the heels of an eight month turnaround leasing campaign that has netted in 115,000 sq. ft. of new leases.

  • Warm weather no excuse for weakness at Stage Stores

    After reporting a sales decline and third quarter loss, Stage Stores offered a unique explanation due the location of its 847 stores.

    The company’s sales and same store sales both declined 3.5% and a net loss of $9.4 million equated to an earnings per share loss of 29 cents, compared to a prior year earnings per share loss of 16 cents.

It’s the first time Conde Nast has worked with a brand to create custom editorial content on such a wide scale.
