    Isaac Mizrahi has a new yarn collection called Craft, and Michaels will carry it exclusively beginning this fall.

    From super chunky to shimmery chic metallic, the line includes four New York -inspired, trend-driven collections:

  • Lane Bryant collaborates with designer Lela Rose

    New York -- Lane Bryant announced that American ready-to-wear designer Lela Rose will be creating a limited-edition line exclusively for the special-sized retailer. The collection is set to hit stores summer 2015, and will be sold under the Lela Rose Exclusively for Lane Bryant label.

    Lela Rose will be the third designer collaboration for Lane Bryant, joining the Sophie Theallet and Isabel Toledo collections.

  • Target Canada tackles merchandising, pricing

    Mississauga, Canada -- Target Canada is launching several initiatives to improve business performance and better deliver the Target brand experience to Canadian customers. Among the initiatives are a partnership with interior designer and TV host Sarah Richardson, who will launch an exclusive home décor line at Target Canada in fall 2015.

  • Nordstrom unveils first-ever give-back brand

    Nordstrom has launched its first-ever private label give-back brand, Treasure&Bond, which will be available in the T.B.D. clothing department at 86 stores around the country and on nordstrom.com.

    Five percent of net profits of Treasure&Bond will go to nonprofits that work to empower women and girls.

  • CVS unveils exclusive makeup collection

    CVS/pharmacy has launched an exclusive beauty collection called Makeup Academy, which includes more than 145 products within three categories: lip products, false eyelashes and makeup brushes.

  • Kmart gets help from Biggest Loser star

    Fitness guru Jillian Michaels and Kmart this month plan to launch a new line of performance activewear branded as Impact by Jillian Michaels as part of Kmart's strategy to expand and strengthen health and wellness offerings.

    The product line will be available online beginning August 10 for Kmart’s Shopyourway.com members and in stores on August 17 with prices ranging from $10.99 to $36.99. The line of apparel and accessories encompasses categories such as core training, running, yoga and lifestyle.

  • Stop & Shop generates buzz about its store brands with promotion

    Stop & Shop is once again looking to promote its store brands by holding its Buy Theirs, Get Ours Free challenge.

    During the weeks of June 29 and July 6 and then again the weeks of July 27 and August 3, when customers purchase selected national brand products, they will receive Stop & Shop Own Brands equivalent products free.

  • Walmart shows support of women-owned businesses with new logo

    Washington, D.C. — Walmart, along with the Women's Business Enterprise National Council and WEConnect International, on Wednesday joined forces to establish a unique logo for retail packaging of products from women-owned businesses. The new logo will bring consumer recognition of products provided by women-owned businesses on store shelves both in the U.S. and international markets.
