  • Walgreens, Roush Fenway Racing launch interactive promotion

    Deerfield Park, Ill. - Walgreens and Roush Fenway Racing have launched a partnership to stage "The Race Around America" interactive promotion, presented by Balance Financial Prepaid MasterCard from Walgreens. By registering their cards for the promotion, Balance financial card cardholders will be entered in the sweepstakes portion of the omni-channel promotion.  

  • Oral-B unveils oral care app

    Oral-B has launched of an oral care app for children called the Disney Magic Timer App by Oral-B.

    Created in collaboration with Disney and powered by DreamPlay, the oral care app is designed to helps kids increase brushing time, which, according to the company, is identified by dentists as an area of concern and improvement for children.

  • Neiman Marcus launches shopping app

    Dallas – Neiman Marcus is launching the NM app for iPhone. Key features include shopping and the ability to text, email, call or FaceTime any sales associate directly from the app.

    Other features include checking on loyalty points and cards, viewing upcoming events such as designer appearances and promos, and the ability to follow the Neiman Marcus blog, read catalogs and watch videos. The app allows a customer to search by department to locate or contact sales associates at any Neiman Marcus store.  

  • Mastercard offers mobile payment services to travelers

    MasterCard and Syniverse are partnering to deliver a number of mobile and payment services for consumers to use when traveling abroad. The two companies are currently in pilot-phase for an opt-in service that will enable card transactions for users only when they have their mobile device switched on in a specific geolocation abroad.

  • Amazon expands coins program for Android devices and tablets

    Amazon customers in the U.S., U.K. and Germany can now buy, spend and earn Amazon Coins on their Android phones and tablets. Previously available for use exclusively on Kindle Fire tablets, Amazon Coins can now be used to buy the latest apps, purchase extra lives within Candy Crush or unlock Red’s amazing Super Roaster in Angry Birds GO directly from their Android devices.

  • Hispanic consumers more likely to use mobile for local shopping sources

    Chantilly, Va. -- Hispanic consumers are outpacing non-Hispanics in their adoption of mobile, social and online sources for local shopping. According to BIA/Kelsey's Consumer Commerce Monitor study, nearly a quarter (23.6%) of Hispanic consumers reported they use tablets for local shopping, compared with 15.5% of non-Hispanics. And nearly half (48.5%) of Hispanic consumers use mobile devices for local shopping, compared with 32% of non-Hispanics.

  • Toys ‘R’ Us mobile exec joins Single Touch

    Jersey City, N.J. -- Adam Meshekow, former mobile brand marketing manager for Toys “R” Us Inc., is joining mobile media solutions provider Single Touch Systems Inc. as head of national retail sales. Meshekow will work with management to help architect plans for future client engagement and product development and deployment.

    Single Touch Systems, a technology-based mobile media solutions provider, has named Adam Meshekow as head of national retail sales.

    Meshekow will be responsible for the company's direct sales and marketing efforts and will work with management to help architect plans for future client engagement and product development and deployment.
