    The Clorox Company has entered into an agreement with Soccer United Marketing (SUM), the commercial arm of Major League Soccer, making it an official partner of the U.S. Soccer Federation and the Federación Mexicana de Futbol (FMF, also known as the Mexican national team).

  • Tastykake debuts special snack to mark 100th anniversary

    In celebration of its centennial, Tastykake is releasing new, limited-edition Birthday Kake cupcakes, which combines confetti cake with chocolate-flavored icing and colorful sprinkles. The cakes are available in 12-count packs and hit store shelves this week.

  • Target adds mobile games to digital strategy

    Target has been ramping up digital efforts for a few years now, but its Digital Vendor Marketing (DVM) team is putting the retailer on the mobile games map.

    Target sees mobile games as an opportunity to directly reach customers and showcase the brands and vendors on its store shelves.

    “We’re really focused on creating great games for guests that are simple, yet challenging enough to make you want to play again and again,” says Dawn Block, who oversees the DVM team as a VP of Target.com and mobile.

  • Coke calls Calle Ocho home

    For the 36th year Coca-Cola has aligned itself with one of Miami’s biggest parties, the annual festival known as Calle Ocho that is held each year in the city’s Little Havana neighborhood.
     
    The company is offering exclusive opportunities to meet and greet a variety of musicians at the festival, which will take place from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday, March 9.

  • Jo-Ann gets patriotic ahead of Presidents Day

    Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores is partnering with FabricTraditions, a leading producer of printed fabrics for the home sewing industry, to bring the Creating New Traditions collection of fabrics made entirely in the United States to all Jo-Ann stores nationwide and Joann.com.

    FabricTraditions will donate a portion of sales to The National Military Family Foundation.

  • Stein Mart launches exclusive home collection

    Stein Mart is unveiling an exclusive home collection by London-based interior designer and decorator Nina Campbell Friday, Feb. 14.

    Nina Home by Nina Campbell will be available in 200 Stein Mart locations and on SteinMart.com.

  • Krispy Kreme K-Cups?

    Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, the company behind Keurig brewing technology, and retailer Krispy Kreme announced that the companies have reached an agreement to bring Krispy Kreme signature coffee to K-Cup packs for the Keurig brewing system.

    The companies are set to launch Krispy Kreme coffee K-Cups in both Smooth and Decaf by the end of 2014. The packs will be available at Keurig.com and KrispyKreme.com, as well as select Krispy Kreme shops, grocery, retail and away-from-home channels across the United States.

  • Levi’s launches customized ad agency model

    San Francisco -- The Levi's brand has chosen a customized advertising agency model. Effective immediately, the Levi's brand will transition to a combined agency team from Draftfcb Worldwide and The House Worldwide to deliver global marketing, creative and strategic support.
