  • J.C. Penney appeals Macy’s ruling

    Plano, Texas – J.C. Penney has filed an appeal of a June 16 ruling by the New York State Supreme Court that it "tortuously" interfered with Macy’s 2006 contract with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia when Penney entered into its own contract with Martha Stewart in 2011. In the ruling, Justice Jeffrey K. Oing said Macy’s failed to prove that it is entitled to punitive damages.

  • Triscuit teams up with Martha Stewart for recipe challenge

    Triscuit and Martha Stewart have entered into an exclusive partnership with the launch of the Triscuit Summer Snackoff, a series of four recipe challenges.  

    Every other week, from now until Aug. 24, Stewart will debut a new recipe featuring a different seasonal ingredient on www.triscuitsummersnackoff.com, encouraging fans to develop and submit their own Triscuit creations using Martha Stewart's seasonally inspired selection.

    If a shopper has ever wanted 10 yards of Nerds candy, a new product from Duck Tape has it covered. The two brands have teamed up to create a new tape that features the crunchy candy.

    The 10-yard roll of tape is aimed at consumers interested in crafts, or personalizing notebooks and accessories.

  • Miranda Lambert helps Pedigree kick off shelter renovation campaign

    Pedigree has launched its 50-state animal shelter renovation project with the help of Miranda Lambert in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, the country singer’s hometown.

    “I started supporting this shelter to ensure every dog in my hometown would have a safe place to stay and enough food to fill their bellies. And Pedigree has helped me deliver on both those promises,” Lambert said at the event, where she and several community members and Pedigree employees cleaned the shelter and erected agility courses.

  • Juicy Couture to expand U.S. stores, global brand

    New York - A series of new concept Juicy Couture stores will be opened in the U.S. and Canada beginning in 2015. The new stores will be in key, high traffic locations such as New York City, Los Angeles and Vancouver, and will replace existing Juicy Couture stores in the U.S.

    New York – Soupman Inc., parent company of specialty restaurant chain The Original Soupman, is partnering with the Atlanta Franchise Group, a franchise development company brought on to grow The Original Soupman's franchise presence across the country.

  • 7UP continues #7x7UP at EDC Las Vegas

    7UP is working to make the Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas an experience for attendees and those who won’t be at the three-day concert that starts on June 20.

    At the electric music festival, the beverage brand will be hosting the fourth of seven concerts organized through its #7x7UP social media campaign with Stage 7, which will showcase up-and-coming electric artists all weekend. Most notably, the #7x7UP campaign has featured a partnership with well-known DJ, Tiësto, whose 7UP-sponsored album release party was held on June 17 at Terminal 5 in New York.

  • Duck Tape and Fiskars hold scissors sweepstakes on Facebook

    Duck brand duct tape has partnered with Fiskars to introduce Fiskars Duck Edition scissors. To mark the launch, Fiskars is hosting a sweepstakes starting today called Imagination on a Roll on its Facebook page.

    Sweepstakes participants are encouraged to share their Duck Tape crafting project ideas on Fiskars’ Facebook page for a chance to win 21 rolls of Duck Tape and the new Fiskars Duck Edition scissors, a prize valued at more than $90. The sweepstakes runs through July 14.
