    Chattanooga, Tenn. -- CBL announced the promotions of Rusty Carlton to VP of portfolio accounting; Eric Griffith to VP of mall leasing; Michael Herman to VP of legal services; and Robert Snetman to VP of asset management and third party services.

  • Phillips Edison hires VP, assistant general counsel

    Cincinnati -- Phillips Edison & Company it has appointed Theresa (“Terry”) Shea as VP, assistant general counsel. In her new role, Shea will work closely with the general counsel to provide legal advice to the Company concerning all aspects of its business.

  • Report: Walmart case could expand gay rights in workplace

    Walmart is the target of a lawsuit that could provide an answer to the quesition as to whether anti-gay discrimination is a form of sex discrimination, according to Bloomberg. If a settlement isn’t reached in the case, which goes to mediation on Feb. 22, it will go to trial in federal court in Massachusetts.

    Several published reports are indicating that Kohl’s has eliminated three senior level leadership positions.

    Kohl’s has reportedly eliminated the positions of chief digital officer, senior vice president of store environment and development, and senior vice president of communications and public relations. Retailing Today was unable to independently confirm the jobs cuts or the identify of executives involved. Kohl’s representatives were unavailable for comment.

  • Former Starbucks exec joins Advantage in key leadership role

    Leading sales and marketing solutions provider Advantage Solutions named former Starbucks executive Jeff Hansberry to the newly created position of president and chief commercial officer.
