Wayfair makes plans for 10th store — here's where
Digitally-native home furnishing retailer Wayfair is continuing to further its physical expansion plans.
The company has announced plans for what will be its 10th brick-and-mortar location. Wayfair will open an 85,000-sq.-ft., single-level store at Marketplace at Altamonte in Altamonte Springs, Fla., suburb of Orlando.
Expected to open in 2028, the store will allow guests to browse Wayfair's expansive online catalog. Visitors can explore Wayfair Verified products organized by room and style, work with on-site design experts on projects of all sizes, take many items home the same day and access Wayfair's broader assortment through its logistics network.
The Orlando-area store will join existing Wayfair locations in Wilmette, Ill., Atlanta and Columbus, Ohio. Upcoming stores include locations in Denver, Westchester, N.Y., Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Cincinnati, Ohio, Princeton, N.J., and Pittsburgh, Pa.
Wayfair noted that its growing store portfolio has introduced new customers to the brand while strengthening engagement across channels. At the Chicago location, for example, the retailer says it has seen a strong halo effect, with more than 50% of customers who visit the store being new to the brand.

"With each new store, we're learning more about how customers want to shop for their homes and how our physical and digital experiences can work together. Orlando is a great market for this next chapter, and we're excited to introduce the Wayfair store experience to the community."
At the 335,995-sq.-ft. Marketplace at Altamonte, Wayfair will join a tenant roster that includes Ross Dress for Less, Burlington, Total Wine & More and others.
