Target Corp. is partnering with Reese's Book Club to get people reading female authors all summer long.

The discount giant is participating in “STORYfest,” a series of real-world reading events linked to omnichannel efforts from film star Reese Witherspoon's media Company, Hello Sunshine. Target is serving as the official retail partner of Reese’s Book Club, founded in 2017 to spotlight stories centered on women and foster an active global community of readers.

Together with Hello Sunshine, a female-centered multi-platform company founded by Witherspoon, Reese’s Book Club is running STORYfest through a series of four events at Hudson Yards in New York City debuting Tuesday, June 16, 2026 with a session featuring authors Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray discussing their novel “A Pair of Aces,” the Reese’s Book Club pick for June.

Each event will feature a live conversation with a Reese’s Book Club author, along with book signings, interactive programming and activations. Target will offer giveaways and digitally enabled experiences at each STORYfest session.

Moments and conversations from the event series will be broadcast across social media, Substack, WhatsApp, podcasts and creator and brand collaborations with Hello Sunshine. The series will also feature special activations tied to key cultural and community moments, such as National Book Lovers Day in August.
