Shipt taps actress Eva Longoria to promote curated assortment tool

Shipt Kit orders
Shipt Kits offer one-click, curated assortments.

A same-day delivery company that is an independent division of Target is offering customizable product bundles and enlisting a Hollywood actress to help spread the word.

Online delivery platform Shipt, which Target acquired for $550 million in 2017, is launching one-click cart builder feature called “Shipt Kits.” Debuting in time for the 2026 global World Cup soccer tournament, Shipt Kits provides product bundles curated around events such as World Cup watch parties and summer cookouts.

To kick off the launch, Shipt has recruited Eva Longoria, actress, producer, director, and co-owner of major soccer clubs, to help demonstrate how Shipt Kits work to consumers.

"The best seat for the game is my own couch — but only if the food is right. In our family, soccer brings everyone together, and that means getting our game day spread right is important,” said Longoria. “That's why I teamed up with Shipt to announce Shipt Kits. Shipt makes life so much easier — and now with the addition of these curated bundles, hosting is even easier, more elevated, and stress-free. You build your cart with just one click, and the entire spread shows up same day so you can actually enjoy the game."

Initial Shipt Kit curated offerings include:

  • Fan Food: Quick bites, finger foods, and drinks.
  • Game-Day Grill Out: Everything required for a backyard cookout, from meats and buns to condiments and sides.
  • The Sandwich Station: A lineup of favorite sandwich ingredients and game-day staples.
  • "Match of the Week" Kit: Each week, a "match of the week" kit inspired by competing World Cup teams and fan traditions will feature themed snacks, beverages and essentials.

"At Shipt, we believe no order is ordinary, especially when it comes to how our members celebrate,” said Alia Kemet, chief marketing officer at Shipt. “By turning moment-defining shopping lists into seamless, one-click curated kits, we're removing the pre-game scramble and unlocking a meaningful growth engine for our same-day delivery business.”

To celebrate the launch of Shipt Kits, Shipt is offering half off its annual membership through Sunday, July 5, 2026: Customers can sign up for an annual membership for $49 (regularly $99).

Shipt provides personal shopping and delivery in more than 5,000 U.S. cities. An independently operated, wholly owned subsidiary of Target Corp, Shipt was founded and headquartered in Birmingham, Ala. and maintains an office in San Francisco.
