Target starts Black Friday sales early

Target Corp. is looking to get a jump on this year’s shortened holiday shopping season.

With six fewer days between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year compared to last, Target will kick of its “HoliDeals” with a Black Friday preview sale from Friday, Nov. 8 through Saturday, Nov. 9. Each weekend from Nov. 16 through Dec. 15 will feature special savings in stores and online. 

In other holiday promotions, on Nov. 27, Target’s RedCard loyalty members will have all-day access to deals, while Target Circle members can take advantage of select deals starting at 6pm. 

Target stores will open at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving, Nov. 28, and remain open until 1 a.m. on Black Friday, Nov. 29. Stores will reopen at 7 a.m. on Black Friday.

Black Friday deals start on Thanksgiving and will last through Saturday, Nov. 30. Cyber Week deals will be available from Dec. 1 through Dec. 8.
