Target features exclusive collectibles for Black Friday

Target Corp. is taking what it calls a "fandom-driven" approach to Black Friday.

The discount giant is releasing seven exclusive pop culture-themed collectible merchandise assortments in time for Black Friday. Featured brands include the "Wicked" film franchise, Topps trading cards, and Champion.

Target has already held an early Black Friday sale and every Sunday through Dec. 21, the retailer plans to roll out hundreds of fresh deals.

Details of each exclusive holiday assortment follow, in chronological order of release date:

The Wild Collective

Target is currently offering a collection of tees, hoodies and tunics featuring team graphics with elevated silhouettes and premium details from emerging brand The Wild Collective. The assortment includes merchandise licensed for 17 NFL and 10 NCAA schools, including the Minnesota Vikings, Buffalo Bills, Georgia Bulldogs and Texas Longhorns, with prices starting at $29.99.

Champion

A new, currently available streetwear collection created in collaboration with Champion offers officially licensed NFL and NCAA apparel.

'Wicked: For Good'

Two exclusive collectibles tied to the upcoming film “Wicked: For Good” will be available at Target Friday, Nov. 21 in stores and online. “Wicked: The Official Visual Companion” is a collector’s book featuring cast letters, a reversible poster and more than 300 never-before-seen images from the film for $28.

"Wicked: For Good – The Soundtrack" is a pink-and-green vinyl LP with a lenticular cover and two brand-new songs performed by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande for $49.99.

These exclusive products are part of a broader partnership with Universal Products & Experiences for Wicked: For Good” that offers new merchandise including beauty, collectibles, drinkware, themed fashion and toys. Target also served as a premier retail destination for the first “Wicked” film during the 2024 holiday season.

Blogilates by Cassey Ho

Blogilates, a new line of women’s apparel from designer Cassey Ho, releases its first-ever winter collection at Target Saturday, Nov. 22, with pieces such as hoodies and skorts priced $25 to $40.

Nintendo's Mario Kart racing jacket

Available Sunday, Nov. 23, Target is teaming up with Nintendo for an exclusive, limited-edition racing jacket inspired by the video game Mario Kart, for $69.99.

Topps

Two Topps NBA and Pokémon card drops will be available only at Target on Black Friday, Nov. 28. The Topps Basketball Black Friday Edition offers exclusive parallels and autographs, as well as limited inclusions of Cooper Flagg rookie cards. Value boxes are priced at $34.99 and binders are $24.99, with purchases limited to two per item per transaction.

In addition, exclusive Pokémon ex box bundles are dropping at Target on Black Friday, with two-pack sets featuring combinations like Black Kyurem ex and Melmetal ex or Archaludon ex and Reshiram ex. Each box includes promo cards, oversize foil cards, booster packs and codes for the Pokémon TCG Live digital game, priced at $34.99 (regularly $49.99) while supplies last.

Baby Three

Collectible plush brand Baby Three makes its U.S. holiday debut with two Target-exclusive blind box drops for Black Friday. Each blind box hides one of six possible variations, meaning customers won’t know which plush they’re getting until they open it.

Each limited-edition plush is $24.99, available in stores and on Target.com starting Friday Nov 28, designed for consumers ages 13 and up.
