Shipt membership now free for Visa credit cardholders
Shipt and Visa have teamed up to give holders of Visa credit cards an exclusive new perk.
The shopping and delivery marketplace and payment company said they will provide free Shipt membership to Visa consumer credit cardholders in the United States. All U.S. Visa consumer credit cardholders can enroll to get free delivery of groceries and other home essentials on all Shipt marketplace orders over $35.
The new benefit is likely to broaden the appeal of online buying as consumer purchasing habits continue to evolve. Nearly 30% American consumers have made online grocery shopping part of their routine, according to the release. It also comes as Shipt is undertaking the biggest expansion in three years, adding 1,000 stores and 2 million households to its delivery area.

All Visa U.S. consumer credit cardholders are now eligible to create a Shipt account. Visa Infinite cardholders can create a Shipt account to get up to three years of free membership with free delivery on orders over $35; Visa Signature cardholders can get three months of free Shipt membership, then nine months of membership at a half-off discount with free delivery on orders over $35.
Consumers who hold all other Visa credit card types can access one free month of Shipt membership, then three months of membership at 50% off with free delivery on orders exceeding $35.
