PetSmart celebrates 'Treats Rewards Members Month' in March
Participants in the PetSmart loyalty program can receive special perks and deals through March 31.
The pet supplies and services retailer is letting members of its Treats Rewards loyalty program visit their account to activate offers and earn bonus points on purchases throughout March.
Perks PetSmart is offering include $10 back in savings (5,000 points) for every $50 spent, which can be redeemed up to five times throughout the month. The retailer is also hosting a “Treats Rewards Super Giveaway “for a chance to win 1 million Treats Rewards points ($2,000 in savings) loaded into the winner’s account and 5 million Treats Rewards points ($10,000 in savings) to donate to a PetSmart Charities animal rescue partner.
In addition, members will receive 2,500 points ($5 in savings) for merchandise purchases on the day of a purchased salon, PetsHotel, training or Doggie Day Camp service, and can also donate 1,000 points to PetSmart Charities during PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week (March 24-30).
Other special offers include automatic entry in top-tier VIPP status for members who adopt a pet during PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week, as well as a free Shutterfly photo book for all members.

Members can download the PetSmart app or log in online to activate offers during Treats Rewards Members Month.
PetSmart redesigns loyalty offering
With more than 70 million loyalty members, PetSmart's Treats Rewards program is free to join and offers personalized deals that can be redeemed for discounts on future purchases. All members also get free shipping on select orders over $49, as well as members-only in-store pricing and a free gift on their pet's birthday or date of adoption.

PetSmart launched Treats Rewards, an upgrade of its previously existing loyalty offering, in January 2024. According to PetSmart, the updated program came as a direct result of its customers saying they were looking for a simplified, easy to understand loyalty offering tiered benefits that further rewarded them for their loyalty and redemption options that seamlessly integrated into their shopping experience.
PetSmart says 93% of its purchases are connected to a Treats Rewards account.
