HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. Sears announced that it took home ten RACie awards for its marketing efforts.

Among the honors Sears received was the Peter Glen Award for Sears' Heroes at Home program which has raised more than $20 million and helped more than 50,000 military families. Additionally, Robert Raible, VP integrated marketing communications at Sears Holdings, was inducted into the Retail Advertising Hall of Fame for his innovation in print, television and Internet advertising.

"Awards such as these validate Sears' marketing campaigns that are driven by the needs and insights of our customers -- our ultimate focus. It's nice that this is seen and acknowledged by our peers," said Richard Gerstein, Sears Holdings' SVP and president of marketing. "I congratulate the entire team -- especially Robert Raible for his leadership -- for continuing to create innovative campaigns that generate awareness and interest and that, most importantly, motivate consumers."

The RACie Awards honor the best retail ads, commercials, digital efforts and other communication materials that consumers first experienced during the past year. Each piece of work is judged on creativity, strategy, results, and innovation.
