Special guest judge, Marlon Wayans, was on hand to help Miller Lite select the winner of the brand's national comedy competition "Stand Up. It's Miller Time."
Dallas comedian, Keisha Hunt, was chosen as the 2013 Miller Lite Stand Up. It's Miller Time competition winner during the grand finale at Center Stage in Atlanta. Hunt won the $10,000 grand prize, and will be featured in an upcoming issue of Complex Magazine. The finale also featured guest judges Donnell Rawlings and Michael Blackson, along with a special performance from LaVar Walker, the 2012 winner of Stand Up. It's Miller Time.
"Stand Up. It's Miller Time brings together great friends for a good time," said Lorence Pope, Miller Lite African American marketing manager. "Miller Lite is proud to be on the main stage for the second year, with our partner and one of the funniest comedians, Marlon Wayans, to provide a national audience for aspiring stand-up comics."
Now in its second year, the comedy competition traveled to five cities, including Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, New Orleans and Atlanta. Four rising stand-up comedians advanced from local semifinals to participate in the finale, including Kelly "KDubb" Walker (Charlotte), Kellye Howard (Chicago), Keisha Hunt (Dallas) and Shaddy Feel Good (New Orleans).
