Kmart to open for 64 hours, celebrities offer gift ideas
HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. Sears Holdings announced that to assist customers with last-minute shopping, it is keeping 352 Kmart stores across the country open for 64 consecutive hours beginning Dec. 22 at 6 a.m. until Dec. 24 at 10 p.m.(local time), to help fulfill customers' last-minute shopping needs.
Sears Holdings also enlisted some of its celebrity partners for their last-minute gift ideas. Ty Pennington, host of ABC's "Extreme Home Makeover," of which Sears is a sponsor, touted Craftsman's three-piece adjustable wrench set for $24.99 and the Element 2GB MP3 player for $24.99 as viable gift options, while former "Charlie's Angels" star Jaclyn Smith promoted her branded sweater and Country Living bedspread collection for $14.99 among her choices for last-minute presents.
