Pin, share, Tweet will join sit, stay, come at the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship when Procter & Gamble introduces cutting-edge social capabilities to the top dog show.

The entire event scheduled for December 13-15 in Orlando will be live streamed which gives those who visit Live.Eukanuba.com the opportunity to virtually sit ringside. However, where things get interesting is with the addition of interactive features to the live streaming that will allow viewers to immediately chat, share, Pin, post and Tweet with the click of a button.

“We are excited to give dog enthusiasts the ability to participate in our show in a way that’s never been done before,” said Jason Taylor, communications director for P&G Pet Care. “People can track their favorite competition, breed or dog as they vie for best in show and instantly share photos or videos across their social networks. No other dog show has offered this interactive capability so we’re expecting a lot of buzz and a tremendous response.”

Throughout the course of the three-day event featuring 190 breeds and varieties more than 300 hours of video will be generated and available from any smart TV, desktop, laptop and mobile device with live streaming set to begin at 12:30 p.m. EST December 13.

“We are thrilled to expand our reach and bring the show to people across the globe,” said Michael Canalizo, AKC/Eukanuba National Championship event manager. “We are so proud to be leading our industry and offering enthusiasts the ability to share their passion for dogs, whether that’s tweeting a group winner, posting a breed competition video to a Facebook page or pinning a picture from the best in show ring. It’s truly phenomenal to see the evolution of the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship.”
