Be like Beckham, global superstar reprises role in H&M campaign

Style icon David Beckham is back to help launch a new collection for fast-fashion leader H&M.



To promote the launch of the chain’s spring 2016 Modern Essentials selected by David Beckham collection, Beckham shot a commercial on the streets of Lisbon. During the quirky spot, he realizes that everyone wants to dress just like him.



“I always have the best time shooting H&M campaigns. They really understand my style and my sense of humour. It was great to wear such sharp pieces from the Modern Essentials range while having such a good time,” said Beckham.



It’s the second time Beckham has worked with director Fredrik Bond, taking on the theme of their last commercial where comedian Kevin Hart dressed exactly like Beckham. The film will be accompanied by a print campaign shot by Mario Sorrenti.



The campaign is the latest for the Modern Essentials line.



The H&M Group has more than 3,800 stores in 61 markets including franchise markets.
