Moe's to open first brick-and-mortar Twin Cities location
Fast-casual Mexican chain Moe’s Southwest Grill is set to make its debut in a new market.
The chain, part of the GoTo Foods family of brands that includes Cinnabon, Auntie Anne’s, Jamba and others, will open a new location in Woodbury, Minn., on Sept. 4, marking its brick-and-mortar debut in the Twin Cities area. Currently, the only Moe’s location in the market is at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
"The Twin Cities area represents a dynamic, growing market with a strong appreciation for quality, customizable dining experiences, making it a natural fit for Moe's," said chief development officer Tatiana Lambert, who joined the company in April. "As our first traditional restaurant in the market, this opening marks an important step in our growth strategy and reflects the continued demand we're seeing for fresh flavors, convenience and hospitality-driven brands. We're excited to introduce more guests to the Moe's experience and build a lasting presence in the region."
The new 2,605-sq.-ft. restaurant is designed to support a variety of dining occasions through dine-in, takeout, third-party delivery, catering and digital ordering. Moe’s offers guests customizable burritos, bowls, stacks, tacos, quesadillas and nachos.

As of June 28, 2026, Moe's Southwest Grill had over 540 locations in 35 states and across two countries and territories.
Atlanta-based GoTo Foods operates the Auntie Anne’s, Carvel, Cinnabon, Jamba, Moe’s Southwest Grill, McAlister’s Deli and Schlotzsky’s Deli brand names, as well as the Seattle’s Best Coffee brand on certain military bases and in certain international markets.
