  • CVS develops photo app for Facebook users

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS/pharmacy has launched its new CVS Express Photo App, which enables Facebook users to order prints from their Facebook albums without leaving the website, with prints ready for pickup in about an hour at their local CVS/pharmacy.

  • Convergys holiday survey: Big online spending yet to come

    Cincinnati -- A survey released Monday by Convergys said that many consumers have yet to complete their holiday shopping -- and many of those will do that shopping online.

    According to Convergys’ 2010 Holiday Shopping Season Research, which polled 500+ consumers on their holiday shopping plans; 18% of consumers have already completed their holiday shopping; but 27% have not yet started; and 50% are only half done.

  • CVS/pharmacy launches photo app for Facebook

    Woonsocket, R.I. -- CVS/pharmacy said Tuesday it has launched a new CVS Express Photo App that allows Facebook users to order prints from their Facebook albums without leaving the website. The prints are ready for pick up in about an hour at users’ local CVS/pharmacy.

Here is the firm’s Top 5 predictions:

  • Macy’s to build new fulfillment center to support online growth

    Cincinnati - Macy’s announced it plans to build a major new fulfillment center near Martinsburg in Berkeley County, W.V., to support the continued growth of its online business. The site is located about 80 miles northwest of Washington, D.C. 

    Construction on the 1.3 million-square-foot facility is expected to begin in spring 2011, with operations beginning in April 2012 and order shipments beginning in summer 2012. 

  • Crate & Barrel signs on with shopkick for mobile rewards

    New York - Crate and Barrel has joined shopkick, allowing it to deliver location-based shopping rewards simply for visiting stores. By early 2011, rewards will be delivered at all U.S. Crate and Barrel stores.
