  • EPA honors Kohl’s for sustained excellence in energy efficiency

    Menomonee Falls, Wis. -- Kohl’s Department Stores has been awarded the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) 2014 Energy Star Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence Award for the company’s continued leadership in protecting the environment through superior energy efficiency initiatives. The retailer currently has more than 860 Energy Star-certified locations, more than 70% of its stores nationwide and more than any other U.S. retailer to date.

    New York -- Amazon has opened a Wearable Technology store on its website, which it describes as a one-stop shop where customers can discover the latest in wearable technology and research wearable devices including activity trackers, smart watches and wearable cameras.

    In addition to the large selection of items from brands including Samsung, Jawbone and GoPro, the store features products from emerging brands such as Basis and Misfit as well as devices coming soon from brands such as Narrative and Bionym.

  • Einstein Bros. automates service relationships with ServiceNow platform

    Lakewood, Colo. – Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, parent company of the Einstein Bros. Bagels, Noah’s New York Bagels and Manhattan Bagel Company brands, has rolled out the cloud-based ServiceNow platform. Einstein retail brands are now automating and managing service relationships across the global enterprise through a single system of record.

  • Report: M-commerce market to reach $467 billion in 2019

    Dallas – The global mobile commerce market will grow from $116.1 billion in 2014 to $467.3 billion in 2019. According to a new report from MarketsandMarkets, in terms of geographies, North America and Europe are expected to be the biggest markets in terms of revenue contribution, while Asia-Pacific and Middle East-Africa are expected to experience increased market traction during the forecast period.
