  • Accellos releases new WMS features for 3PLs

    Phoenix – Accellos is releasing AccellosOne Enterprise 3PL version 4.0, which is built on the AccellosOne Platform version 3.0. This release focuses on a new user experience, work centers, cloud e-learning, and advanced functionality in event management, workflow engine, reporting, supply chain intelligence, and quality inspection.

  • VeriFone, Xpient partner on PaaS tool

    San Jose, Calif. -- VeriFone Systems, Inc. is partnering with Xpient Solutions to provide payment-as-a-service (PaaS) solution for quick service restaurant (QSR) and fast-casual dining markets. The solution enhances security through payment system isolation and end-to-end encryption while providing a pathway to EMV and NFC payment acceptance at the point-of-sale (POS).
     

  • Accellos updates WMS offering

    Atlanta – Accellos is releasing AccellosOne Warehouse Management System (WMS) version 6.5, which is built on Accellos’ unifying technology platform, the AccellosOne Platform version 3.0. This cloud-ready WMS features an all-new configuration mechanism that leverages Microsoft’s Workflow Foundation, enabling partners and customers to analyze and modify business processes without writing code or using proprietary scripting languages.

  • AJB deploys chip and PIN payment cards for J.Crew in Canada

    Toronto -- AJB Software Design announced that it has implemented chip+PIN secured payment cards for all of J.Crew’s store locations throughout Canada.

    AJB’s flexible integrated payments (FIPay) software enables merchants to accept EMV transactions, which can result in fewer disputed charges, lower levels of fraud, while providing global interoperability.

  • Manthan Systems releases price optimization tool

    Phoenix – Manthan Systems is introducing its ARC Pricing Optimization application. ARC Pricing Optimization offers capabilities designed specifically for the retail environment and is a part of the company’s latest release of its ARC Merchandise Analytic application, MA6.4

  • SAP releases InfiniteInsight predictive analytics solution

    Walldorf, Germany – SAP is releasing the new InfiniteInsight solution. Based on patented automation technology from KXEN, an SAP company, the solution is designed to provide businesses the ability to deploy predictive analytics across the enterprise.

    Capabilities of SAP InfiniteInsight include analytical data sets for predictive modeling, automated modeling, optimized scoring equations, and factory capability for model refreshes as needed.

    Framingham, Mass. – Staples is introducing Staples Connect, an offering that lets customers’ home or office technology interact and be controlled by a single app. With the touch of a button, Staples Connect lets customers shut down their office, turning off lights, lowering shades and locking doors, while at the same time turning on their lights and heat at home.

  • Sunoco taps Action Services Group for high-rise sign relamping program

    Aston, Pa. -- Action Services Group, a national lighting, sign and electrical maintenance company, announced a program agreement with Sunoco Inc. to provide sign relamping services, plus location asset-survey services, for their retail high-rise signs across specified locations in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island.
