  • Paul Frank to launch exclusive line at Babies'R'Us

    HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Paul Frank is partnering with Babies"R"Us to launch all-new Small Paul designs that will be available exclusively at Babies"R"Us stores nationwide beginning May 23. The joining of these two brands, which are both distinguished and playful in nature, is sure to create buzz among moms and fans of all ages.

    The line will include apparel and accessories, available in sizes 0 to 5T, as well Small Paul-branded bags, backpacks, footwear and hosiery, and plush toys.

  • Oracle survey: Social media users have higher expectations for customer service

    Redwood Shores, Calif. -- A “Live Help” feature, detailed information about products and services and access to personal account information are the three most important features consumers expect to find at a company’s website, according to an annual survey by Oracle. The company surveyed more than 3,000 consumers worldwide regarding their use of customer service channels including call centers, live chat, click-to-call and email.

  • New chairman named at Best Buy, results of Dunn investigation revealed

    MINNEAPOLIS — A new era is emerging at Best Buy as the company tries to come back from the fallout over disgraced former CEO Brian Dunn and re-establish itself is the dominant player in the CE space. To that end, the company's board of directors has elected Hatim Tyabji to succeed Richard Schulze as chairman of the company, effective at the conclusion of the annual meeting on June 21. Tyabji, currently chairman of the audit committee, has served as a director of Best Buy since 1998.

  • YoGo Factory opens at CooperTowne Center, 22 locations on tap

    Somerdale, N.J. -- Purchase, N.Y.-based National Realty & Development Corp. said that YoGo Factory opened at CooperTowne Center in April.

    The 366,865-sq.-ft. shopping center is located 10 miles from Philadelphia and is anchored by Walmart Supercenter, Cinemark 16-screen theater and LA Fitness.

    YoGo Factory is a self-serve frozen yogurt shop with seven locations open in southern New Jersey and an additional 22 stores opening in the coming months.
     

  • SRS Real Estate names senior associate

    Dallas -- SRS Real Estate Partners announced that it has named Dafna Nadulek as a senior associate in the company’s South Florida office.

    She will focus on developing SRS Urban and tenant representation.

    For a decade prior to joining SRS, Nadulek owned and operated her own shoe and accessory boutiques in New York City.

    Indianapolis -- Simon Property Group announced that Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th will open a total of seven new stores in the next two years in its Premium Outlets division, including new centers and existing centers.

  • Harris survey ranks Kohl’s, Nordstrom, Target and Walgreens highest in their categories

    New York -- Kohl’s, Nordstrom and Target  ranked first in their categories in a new survey by Harris Interactive The 2012 Harris Poll EquiTrend (EQ) study surveyed Americans about brands across several retail segments, revealing which brands prompted them to open their hearts—and consequently—their pocketbooks.

  • Winick relocates Blend restaurant

    New York -- Winick Realty Group said that Latin Fusion restaurant Blend has signed a lease for 4,284 sq. ft. in Long Island City.

    The restaurant is situated at the base of a newly constructed luxury rental building, part of a waterfront residential complex constructed by developer TF Cornerstone.
