Winick relocates Blend restaurant

5/14/2012

New York -- Winick Realty Group said that Latin Fusion restaurant Blend has signed a lease for 4,284 sq. ft. in Long Island City.

The restaurant is situated at the base of a newly constructed luxury rental building, part of a waterfront residential complex constructed by developer TF Cornerstone.

Scheduled to open in early 2013, the new storefront will replace Blend’s current Long Island City location, doubling its dining space and tripling the size of its kitchen area. In addition, representatives at Blend said they plan to open an outdoor seating area to leverage the views.

Blend joins Crank Cycling Studio, and Sweetleaf Coffee and Espresso Bar at the complex. TF Cornerstone is currently constructing two additional residential towers that, upon estimated completion in fourth quarter 2013, will add nearly 20,000 sq. ft. of retail to the LIC waterfront.
