    Seattle -- Starbucks Coffee Company is making its Evolution Fresh juice and Evolution Harvest premium brands available at Whole Foods Market stores across the United  States. This expansion advances Evolution Fresh growth plans to be in approximately 8,000 Starbucks and grocery locations by the end of the year.

  • Nordstrom rolling out more Topshop, Topman departments; national ad campaign in works

    Seattle -- Nordstrom is expanding its partnership with Britain’s fashion-forward women’s apparel brand, Topshop, as well its men’s unit, Topman. Beginning in September, Nordstrom will add 28 Topshop departments and eight Topman departments in stores across the country.

    As part of the expansion, Nordstrom and Topshop will partner on a national campaign.

  • DSW bounces back in Q2

    COLUMBUS, Ohio — Following a difficult start to the year, leading branded footwear and accessories retailer DSW has rebounded with an increase in sales that resulted in solid quarterly profit results for the second quarter ended Aug. 3. 

    The company reported sales of $562 million for the quarter, up 9.7% from $512 million for the prior-year period. Comparable-store sales increased 4.4% for the quarter on top of the prior-year quarter’s 4.2% increase.

  • Tiffany net earnings sparkle in Q2

    New York – Tiffany & Co. grew its net earnings 16% during the second quarter of fiscal 2013, and also increased net sales and same-store sales. Net earnings increased 16% to $107 million, from $92 million in the same quarter a year earlier.

  • New Sam’s Club in Glen Carbon, Ill.

    Glen Carbon, Ill. — A new 136,000-sq.-ft. Sam’s Club will host a grand opening on Thursday in Glen Carbon, Ill. A number of local businesses will be on hand for the grand opening to showcase their products. They include The Billy Goat Chip Company, Excel Bottling Co., Jilly’s Cupcake Bar & Café, Zettie’s Confections and Swiss Meat & Sausage Co.
