  • T.J. Maxx to open at Centerplace of Greeley III

    Greeley, Colo. -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has leased retail space in Greeley, Colo., to T.J. Maxx, which will open a 25,000-sq.-ft. store at Centerplace of Greeley III shopping center.

    The 119,000-sq.-ft. shopping center is anchored by a 42,000-sq.-ft. Sports Authority and a 30,000-sq.-ft. Best Buy.

  • Talbots names SVP stores

    HINGHAM, Mass. — Talbots announced that it has named Lesli Gilbert SVP stores, effective June 27. In this role, Gilbert will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Talbots core retail operations in the United States and Canada, as well as supporting the implementation of the company’s store reimage and rationalization programs. She will report directly to Trudy Sullivan, president and CEO of the Talbots.

  • Lee & Associates names senior advisor

    Indianapolis -- Commercial real estate firm Lee & Associates announced the addition of Robyn Smart as a senior advisor of the Indianapolis office.

    Smart specializes in tenant representation, site acquisition and landlord representation. In her new role, Smart will be responsible for all aspects of retail brokerage.

    Prior to joining Lee & Associates, Smart most recently served as an advisor for CB Richard Ellis.
     

  • Five Below opens at Cortlandt Town Center

    Mohegan Lake, N.Y. -- Dallas-based SRS Real Estate Partners said that it negotiated a 7,210-sq.-ft. lease for Five Below at Cortlandt Town Center in Mohegan Lake, NY.

    The new store opened in September 2010.
     

  • Five Below opens at Pelham Manor Shopping Center

    Pelham Manor, N.Y. -- Dallas-based SRS Real Estate Partners said it has negotiated an 8,280-sq.-ft. lease for Five Below at Pelham Manor Shopping Center in Westchester County, N.Y.

    The new store opened in April.

  • Boardwalk Fresh Burgers to debut in New Jersey, plans to grow to 200 units

    Woodbridge, N.J. -- Fameco Real Estate said that Boardwalk Fresh Burgers and Fries has signed its first lease in New Jersey at Summit Plaza in Hackensack. 

    The fast-casual restaurant will open a 2,684-sq.-ft. unit at the Stop N Shop-anchored center and said it is embarking on an aggressive franchised store rollout program with plans to grow to 200 restaurants in the next five years.

    Site selection criteria include 1,700-2,500 sq. ft., inline, end cap or freestanding space, and a daytime population of 10,000 within one mile.

  • Tuesday Morning opens five Chicago-area stores

    Chicago -- Transwestern’s Chicago Retail Advisory Services team said Wednesday it represented Tuesday Morning in five transactions across the Chicagoland area totaling 95,416 sq. ft.
