    WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — Dannon's Greek yogurt brand Oikos has teamed up with chef, restaurateur, and winner of Bravo’s Top Chef All-Stars, Richard Blais, to help Americans create tasty, nutritious holiday recipes that will be a hit with guests.

    “Just because it’s the holidays doesn’t mean you have to compromise on nutrition,” said Blais. “I am excited to work with Dannon Oikos on their Tasty Additions to Your Traditions campaign and provide recipes that are a great addition to a healthy lifestyle.”

  • Office Max appoints Walgreens exec as chief marketing and strategy officer

    Chicago -- OfficeMax announced that it has appointed Kim Feil as executive VP and chief marketing and strategy officer, effective Nov. 12.

    Feil will have accountability for all aspects of marketing across the enterprise, with particular emphasis on brand management and evolution of the company's traditional marketing vehicles to new media including digital and social.

    Most recently, Feil served as chief marketing officer and corporate VP for Walgreens.

    Roseville, Calif. -- Revionics, a provider of end-to-end merchandise optimization solutions, and GIIV, owner of the SkuLoop business, a provider of social commerce driven promotions for retailers and consumer brands, announced that Revionics has acquired the SkuLoop business and assets from GIIV.

    BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Walmart has launched its 2012 "12 Days of Giving" campaign by calling on Facebook users to once again nominate the nonprofits that are making an impact in their local communities and need support. Each of the "12 Days" will focus on a different giving theme, including hunger, military assistance and disaster relief.

  • Giftango and Burger King partner on digital gift card program

    Portland, Ore. -- Digital gift card provider Giftango Corp. announced Monday a partnership with Burger King Worldwide to launch the BK digital gift card program, which will allow customers to redeem BK Crown Cards from web-enabled mobile devices, including iOS 6 and Android phones, at participating U.S. Burger King restaurants.

    The digital gift cards – called BK eGifts – will be made available through a variety of channels including BK.com and will also be delivered through email, SMS text or Facebook wall posts.
