  • Square helps business and sellers communicate via receipts

    Commerce solutions company Square has introduced Square Feedback, a new product that turns digital receipts into a channel between buyers and sellers.

    Square Feedback prompts customers to send feedback about their experiences directly to business owners through their digital receipts. Sellers can also respond directly to customers, resolve issues one on one, and protect their reputations.

    Square delivers more than 10 million digital receipts a month.

  • Oink expands Channel Partner Program

    Virtual Piggy, provider of Oink, a payment technology for families and teens, is expanding its Channel Partner Program by teaming up with commerce solutions provider Gorilla Group.

    Gorilla’s clients include Franklin, Bonobos, Riot Games, Zynga and Movado. The company is aligned to help leading B2B and direct-to-consumer brands succeed online.

    The app is available for download at the App Store.

    Built with a native tablet design that the company touts as easy to navigate, the app features powerful product and deal search capability, daily double cash back offerings, each user’s personal Favorite Stores and simple find-and-paste couponing.

  • Virgin Mobile expands member benefits

    Virgin Mobile has entered into a partnership with Banana Republic that will offer its Canadian members the newest looks from the brand for less.

    Starting today through Dec. 31, Virgin Mobile members will receive 20% off any one full-priced item at Banana Republic stores across the country.

  • Sears planning to close more stores going forward

    New York -- There are more store closings in Sears’ future. In an address at Sears Holding Corp.’s annual shareholders meeting, chairman and CEO Edward Lampert said the company would close stores and look for ways to leverage its real estate as it continues to focus on integrated omnichannel retail and its Shop Your Way rewards program.

    "Closing stores is going to be part of our future," Lampert said. "I'd rather do (fewer closures) rather than more, but the world has shifted."
