    San Francisco — Retail analytics company Euclid has added three new executives to an already prestigious team. The company has hired John McAdoo as CFO, Adam Wilson as chief marketing officer (CMO), and Jeff Nuzum as senior VP of worldwide sales.

  • Shopkick’s shopBeacon tech expands reach

    Shopkick, a real-world shopping app, has expanded testing of its shopBeacon technology. The new technology, which was deployed in late November at two Macy’s stores, will be active in thousands of stores nationwide by the end of the first quarter.

    Kearney, Neb. — The Buckle, Inc. has named Kari G. Smith to the newly created position of executive VP of stores effective immediately. In her new role, Smith will continue to provide leadership related to all aspects of the in-store shopping experience for Buckle’s customers; including the education and development of Buckle’s sales team.

    The Integer Group, a leading global promotional, retail and shopper marketing agency, has named Todd Miller as SVP/executive creative director.

  • Gourmet Garage to sixth Manhattan location

    New York City — Gourmet Garage, an upscale market with five Manhattan locations, has signed a lease for a sixth Manhattan location at Collect Pond House, a co-op building at 366 Broadway.

    The market will occupy approximately 6,435 sq. ft. on the ground floor and 3,510 sq. ft. in the lower level. An additional 910 sq. ft. in the mezzanine will provide seating.

  • Whole Foods stays positive after shares slip

    Whole Foods Market said total sales for the first quarter ended Jan. 19 climbed 10% to a record $4.2 billion. But those results reportedly missed analysts’ expectations, and the company has lowered its earnings outlook for 2014 as a result.

    Momentum at Whole Foods — as well as shares — slipped. Comparable store sales for the quarter increased 5.4%, compared to a 7.2% increase in the prior year.
