  • One Daytona speeds to finish

    The 300,000-sq.-ft. mixed-use center being erected by International Speedway Corporation across from Daytona Speedway is filling up fast.   Three new tenants have signed on to One Daytona. Sister brands Clair de Lune, a home fragrance store, and Kasa Living, a home décor shop are Canadian brands making their first appearance in the region. Joining the development’s food and beverage roster is Built Custom Burgers, a build-your-own burger concept offering up a long list of toppings at no additional charge.  
  • Donahue Schriber unveils new phase for San Diego center

    Donahue Schriber announced the next phase of Del Mar Highlands Town Center at RECon this week. The 120,000-sq.-ft. addition of GLA will bring the total square footage at the San Diego property close to 400,000.   Called The Collection, the new phase will be anchored by local natural foods grocer Jimbos…Naturally! The company’s leasing strategy for the remainder of the space will focus on retail, dining, and services catering to the area’s highly educated, affluent, and time-constrained consumers.

    There’s a new Facebook icon that users are sure to “like:” a food ordering service.   Rolling out to select users, Facebook’s new “Order Food” option can be found on its navigation menu — both online and mobile app. The service aggregates all supported restaurants together on one page, making it easier for Facebook users to place orders with their favorite restaurants, according to TechCrunch.

  • Wahlburgers opens at center on Vegas Strip

    Those crazy actin’ and burger-flippin’ Wahlbergs Mark and Donny, along with brother Paul and other family members, have opened at Grand Bazaar Shops on the Las Vegas Strip.   The new center located on Bally’s doorstep and across from the Bellagio picked the busiest intersection Vegas to place a culinary assemblage of the hottest new names in casual dining that are beginning to spread to malls and open-air centers nationwide.
