Lowe’s to match 50 loyalty members with outdoor design creators

Lowe's has assembled the #FallTogether Collective, a group of 10 creators, who will work with select customers on outdoor fall projects.

Lowe’s Cos. Inc. is welcoming fall with a new promotion that will provide selected consumers with funding and expert assistance for outdoor projects.

Beginning Monday, Aug. 23, members of the free MyLowe’s loyalty program can register for the Lowe’s #FallTogether Matchmaker Program www.lowes.com/fallmatchmaker for the chance to be one of 50 matched with one of Lowe's #FallTogether Collective creators, no purchase required. This group of 10 outdoor design creators includes lifestyle creator Sopha Rush, design and DIY expert Julia Marcum of Chris Loves Julia, and homestead hobbyist and environmental activist Jenny Ong, among others.

Each person chosen will receive a virtual consultation, customized project plan, and $500 Lowe's gift card to help purchase necessary supplies for their project. To enter, consumers follow on-screen prompts in the online entry form to answer a brief lifestyle questionnaire. Upon completing the lifestyle questionnaire, entrants will be “matched” with a recommended influencer and receive an e-mail regarding their influencer match (the influencer match is just for fun and entrant is not required to engage with any influencer in order to enter).

Upon completing the lifestyle questionnaire, entrants follow the links and instructions to upload a photo of an outdoor space in their home where they would like to do a fall project and briefly describe the fall project. All projects must be appropriate for a 15-minute consultation and photos cannot include any people in them.

Lowe’s has been turning to well-known creators and influencers to help promote its products and services. In May, the retailer unveiled “Lowe’s House of Curators,” a series of special-edition home décor curations that will launch throughout the year — with each collection inspired by “trusted tastemakers.” The series launched with interior designer and fashion icon Iris Apfel.

"We know that fall is a seasonal favorite for millions of people and there are boundless ways to bring the season home, especially in outdoor spaces," said Marisa Thalberg, Lowe's executive VP, chief brand and marketing officer. "By giving our customers access to some of the brightest creative minds in the home improvement space, our hope is to give every household the inspiration and advice they need to take their favorite season into their own hands so we can all fall together."
