Lowe’s launches holiday promotions Oct. 30

Add Lowe’s to the growing list of retailers starting the holiday shopping season before Halloween.

The home improvement giant is rolling out an early Black Friday campaign starting Thursday, Oct. 30 and running through Wednesday, Nov. 26. The sale will include buy one, get one, two or three offers on leading tool brands as well as savings on select appliances from brands like LG, GE and Samsung.

Other retailers that have started their holiday campaigns before Halloween include Amazon, Walmart, Target and Best Buy. Lowe’s also initiated its holiday promotions in October in 2024.

Lowe's will close stores Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, Nov. 27), but on that date will offer one-day, online-only deals, along with early access to doorbusters online for MyLowe's Rewardsand MyLowe's Pro Rewards members. MyLowe’s Rewards members will also receive free member gift offers throughout the season.

On Black Friday (Nov. 28), stores open at 6 a.m. with doorbusters available for all customers, along with savings on products such as appliances and tools. Cyber Monday (Dec. 1) will feature a new set of limited-time, online-only savings. 

In addition, limited-time offers will drop weekly throughout the month of December.

Other holiday offerings from Lowe’s will include:

In-store

  • MyLowe's Rewards members can join holiday-themed kids' workshops in-store for hands-on activities where kids, accompanied by an adult, can create festive keepsakes: Saturday, Nov. 15 will feature “Holiday Countdown” workshops, and Saturday, Dec. 20 will offer “Santa's Sleigh” workshops.
  • Lowe's stores will offer displays to serve as backdrops for family photos, featuring characters from the classic holiday special "Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer," as well as a sleigh yard decoration and prancing and standing reindeer. 

Exclusive products:

  • Exclusive decorations include a nine-foot Grinch and animated “Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer” characters.
  • Lowe’s is teaming up with The Elf on the Shelf line of toys to offer personalized dolls, with a promised surprise later in the season.
  • Social media star Jimmy Donaldson, a.k.a. "MrBeast," is continuing his collaboration with Lowe's with a curated collection of products available both on his dedicated online Lowe’s storefront and in the in-store and online  Lowe’s Gift Zone.
  • Online and in stores in November, an expanded assortment of pet toys, gift sets and gear from the new private Heart & Herd brand will be available.

"Consumers are looking for smaller indulgences this holiday season," said Jen Wilson, senior VP and chief marketing officer at Lowe's. "Many of our most popular holiday items are more impulse-driven. It doesn't always have to be a total home makeover that brings joy home this holiday."
