There are now at least four major retailers running late June sales extravaganzas that directly compete with the upcoming Amazon Prime Day event.
Kohl’s Corp. is running what it calls its biggest savings event of the summer season, “Wow Deals,” Monday, June 21 – Tuesday, June 22. Most likely not out of coincidence, the 2021 edition of Amazon Prime Day occurs over those same two days. In addition, Walmart, Target, and Newegg have all announced their own upcoming June sales events that directly compete with Prime Day.
Kohl’s Wow Deals event will feature what the department store chain calls “epic savings” on hundreds of products across home, toys, beauty, and apparel products, available in stores and online, and refreshed with new offers each day. In addition to daily deals, Kohl’s customers also have the opportunity to earn $10 in Kohl’s Cash rewards credit for every $50 spent on purchases during the event, which can then be used to save on future Kohl’s purchases. Kohl’s Card customers will receive an additional 15% off exclusive offers on top of the Wow Deals promotions.
To participate in the promotion, customers can shop in-store or online. Kohl’s offers limited-contact drive up at most stores, allowing customers to have their Kohls.com BOPIS or ship-to-store orders placed directly in their trunk or backseat when they’re ready. Customers can also choose enter the store for online order pickup.
