Ibotta offers cash back for on-demand grocery deliveries

A mobile rewards and payments platform is partnering with major on-demand grocery delivery providers including Walmart, Instacart, and Shipt.

Ibotta is providing item-level cash back on online grocery orders across its mobile and desktop platforms. The company initially launched the program with Walmart in May 2020. By partnering with Walmart, Instacart, and Shipt, Ibotta obtains reach to over 80% of the U.S. online grocery market.

Other recent partnerships Ibotta has launched in the grocery/CPG space include “Here to Help,” a campaign to offer over $10 million in dedicated cashback offers on grocery and consumables with CPG brands including Kellogg’s Cereal, Tic Tac, Huggies Pull-Ups, and Cheez-its.

“The tide has shifted very quickly in the grocery industry as more American consumers are motivated to shop for their basic necessities online from their computers and phones," said Bryan Leach, CEO and founder of Ibotta. "As demand continues to increase, Ibotta quickly adapted to this new normal to meet consumers where they are and help brands connect to shoppers in the fast-growing online grocery space.”
