The largest Asian supermarket chain in the U.S. and a plant-based vegan beauty brand are partnering with a leading third-party delivery platform.

Following are highlights of DoorDash's collaborations with H Mart and Aveda:

H Mart

H Mart provides a selection of Asian groceries, everyday essentials, and high-end products from over 75 locations across the U.S. In July 2024, the retailer began allowing customers to use on-demand and scheduled delivery from the Uber Eats app.

In addition to H Mart being available for orders made through the Uber Eats app, the partnership will also enable same-day delivery from HMart.com utilizing the Uber Direct white label service.

Aveda

A brand of The Estee Lauder Companies Inc., Aveda offers plant-based, vegan beauty products for hair, skin, and body, and is now offering on-demand delivery via DoorDash from more than 65 stores.

HMart and Aveda will also be available on DashPass, the DoorDash paid membership program that offers members $0 delivery fee, reduced service fees, and member-only benefits on eligible orders from participating partner retailers.

"Millions of consumers shop DoorDash’s retail and grocery categories each month," said Fuad Hannon, VP of new verticals, DoorDash. "They look to DoorDash as the new way to run errands from stocking up on weekly grocery essentials to decorating a new apartment. We’re thrilled with the addition of these new merchants and our ability to meet consumers’ everyday needs, making life easier not just during this season, but throughout the entire year."

DoorDash moves into new verticals

Founded in 2013 as an on-demand delivery service for restaurants, DoorDash offers deliveries in more than 25 countries in a continually expanding selection of retail verticals.

One recent example is a partnership for on-demand, two-hour delivery of mattresses and bedding accessories from its more than 2,300 Mattress Firm store locations across the U.S. launched in August 2024.

As of June 2024, DoorDash says it has more than 115,000 non-restaurant stores on its marketplace in North America (June 2024), including beauty, retail and grocery stores.
