Grocery/entertainment complex Seed to Table offers interactive hologram
Seed to Table is greeting customers with a seven-foot hologram and an immersive shopping experience.
Located in Naples, Fla., Seed to Table is a specialty organic grocer that sells fresh produce from its own 3,500-acre-farm and also features in-store restaurants and bars and entertainment options such as live music. The retailer is launching an immersive in-store experience featuring a seven-foot hologram developed by holographic communication platform Proto Hologram and interactive in-store technology provider Live Buzz Intelligence which greets customers at the entrance with information and advertising.
The hologram also features “Goldie,” a golden shopping cart with a face, voice and personality. Shoppers can ask Goldie questions, get recommendations and discover products. Goldie can remember preferences and previous interactions, with the intent of creating a more personalized experience over time.
“Seed To Table is a cutting-edge grocery store/entertainment Mecca like no other and adding Goldie to it just brings us to another level that no other Supermarket has,” said Dan St. Martin, GM, Seed To Table. “Seed To Table is the Disney World of supermarkets.”
Throughout the store, participating brands use QR-enabled shelf displays provided by Live Buzz Intelligence to turn product discovery into an experience. Shoppers can scan to discover a brand story, learn about a product, receive an offer or recommendation, and explore content created specifically around what they’re seeing.
“Seed to Table deserves tremendous credit for having the vision to be first,” said James Beckmann, CEO of Live Buzz Intelligence. “They’re showing what is possible when a retailer modernizes engagement at exactly the right moment. We’re excited to bring something genuinely new to shoppers.”
Customers participate as much — or as little — as they want in the immersive experience. The experience can also communicate in almost any language. Live Buzz Intelligence plans to scale the model to thousands of retail locations nationwide.
”For years, we’ve been bringing people face-to-face with holograms in ways they never imagined possible,” said David Nussbaum, founder and chairman of Proto Hologram. “Now we’re bringing that same magic to something as ordinary as a trip to the grocery store. What excites me about this collaboration with Live Buzz Intelligence and Seed to Table is that we’re introducing new technology into retail which enhances the entire customer shopping experience. When a shopping cart has a personality, products can tell their own stories, and customers can interact with AI in real time, you’re getting a glimpse of what the future of retail looks like.”
Country star, Skechers, Matin Kim deploy holograms
During June and July, travelers at Nashville International Airport in Tennessee could receive advice on where to find limited-edition Row 94 whiskey products courtesy of a Proto-developed Dierks Bentley hologram. The hologram greeted travelers and directed them toward sampling opportunities and drink specials featuring Row 94, Bentley’s Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey brand, at The Pharmacy Burger Parlor location in the airport.
Bentley debuted the hologram in September 2025 at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport in Kentucky, where Row 94 is made. Its second airport location, Nashville, is where Bentley lives and is also the location of the historic Music Row, where Row 94 draws its name.

In addition, South Korean fashion retailer Matin Kim has installed Proto virtual reality hologram technology at five of its Matin Kim and Hago Haus stores.
The hologram models can move and turn 360 degrees to show outfits to shoppers and have built-in cameras, microphones, speakers and touchscreens, as well as AI capabilities. The avatars can also be activated to answer questions for shoppers about products, in any language, using Proto AI tools.
In the future, Matin Kim intends to be able to beam hologram versions of live special guests into its stores with the ability to see, hear and interact with shoppers in real time.
