First Look: Pop Mart opens first Queens store
Asian toy and collectibles retailer Pop Mart is expanding its presence in the Big Apple.
The brand opened its first location in the borough of Queens on Dec. 7, marking its 18th brick-and-mortar location in the United States. Located at the Tangram Mall in Flushing, the new store follows a successful pop-up location at the World Trade Center in Manhattan, as well as the most recent opening in the Staten Island Mall and the unveiling of its first Robo Shop on Long Island at Roosevelt Field Mall.
“We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of our newest New York location in Tangram Mall,” said Larry Lu, president of Pop Mart North America. “For the opening, we partnered with Haidilao Hot Pot to create a memorable experience that celebrates our shared cultural roots. Building on the success of our first store in the World Trade Center, New York remains a key market as we continue to expand our U.S. presence.”
The new Queens store will offer a series of opening specials, including super exclusive editions of Mega Space Molly and top selling The Monsters series from vinyl plush dolls, accessories and blind boxes. Shoppers will have the opportunity to purchase several sold out and sought after collections including The Monsters Have A Seat Vinyl Plush Blind Box Series, the Labubu x Pronounces - Wings of Fortune Vinyl Plush Hanging Card and much more.
