    Perry Ellis teamed with retail system integration and development services provider BTM Global to implement Oracle Retail Point-of-Service (ORPOS) v14 and Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management (SIM) v14 for its stores throughout the U.S.

    Los Angeles - American Apparel Inc. has named Thoryn Stephens as chief digital officer, a newly created position, and Cynthia Erland as senior VP of marketing. Both Stephens and Erland will assume their roles on March 9 and will report to CEO Paula Schneider.

    Simon joined CBX from TPG Architecture, an architecture and design firm in New York City, where, as design director, he was a responsible for business development, direction and management of design concepts and staff, and account relationships. His key accounts included Perry Ellis, Original Penguin, Crocs, Adidas, Charming Charlie, HTC, RXR and The Empire State Building.

  • Perry Ellis seeks to expand global reach with new hire

    MIAMI — Perry Ellis has appointed Stanley Silverstein as president of international development and global licensing. In this role, Silverstein will be responsible for driving the company's footprint globally across its brand portfolio. 

    Silverstein joins the company from PVH Corporation where he was responsible for driving Warnaco's international expansion during his 29-year tenure. He will report directly to George Feldenkreis, chairman and CEO, and Oscar Feldenkreis, president and COO of the company.
