  • Demandware acquires Mainstreet Commerce

    Burlington, Mass. – Demandware has acquired privately-held Mainstreet Commerce, a provider of cloud-based order management solutions. Demandware hopes the combination of its enterprise-class commerce platform and Mainstreet Commerce’s distributed order management solution will simplify order orchestration between online and in-store shopping processes; optimize store and Web inventory; and enable retailers to deliver a “buy anywhere, fulfill anywhere” consumer experience.

  • ePrize becomes HelloWorld, releases SaaS platform

    Pleasant Ridge, Mich. - Digital engagement firm ePrize today announced a new name, “HelloWorld.” HelloWorld is also releasing a SaaS-based rich engagement platform including the following solutions that can be deployed across microsites, SMS, social, mobile sites, apps and in-store.

    ● Mobile marketing: SMS, in-app push notifications, custom mobile app experiences, mobile clubs, alerts, mobile coupons and location-based services.

  • True Fit partners with Demandware for turnkey recommendations

    Waltham, Mass. – Personalization software company True Fit has become a Demandware Link Technology Partner. Through the Link Technology Partner Program, True Fit has developed a pre-built integration between its fit technology platform and Demandware Commerce.

  • Black Diamond Equipment moves online commerce ops into the cloud with Demandware

    Burlington, Mass. -- Demandware announced that Black Diamond Equipment, which specializes in active outdoor performance products for climbing, mountaineering, backpacking, skiing and other active outdoor recreation activities, has re-launched its ecommerce site on the Demandware Commerce platform.

    Over time, Black Diamond, Inc. plans to leverage Demandware’s cloud platform to quickly and cost-effectively roll out distinct sites for all of its global brands, including Black Diamond, , Gregory,  POC and PIEPS.

  • L’Oréal expands relationship with Demandware

    L’Oréal is expanding its relationship with Demandware, a cloud commerce solutions provider, and will use the Demandware Commerce platform to power the digital transformation strategy of its brand portfolio around the globe. 

  • Demandware releases digital store solution

    Burlington, Mass. – Demandware is releasing a new in-store solution that will extend the omnichannel capabilities of the Demandware Commerce platform into the physical store. Demandware’s new digital store solution will allow retailers to digitize the store by combining omnichannel platform capabilities with purpose-built store functionality such as buy in-store/ship to home, guided selling, bar code scanning and secure credit card transactions.

  • Crabtree & Evelyn teams with Demandware for digital/mobile commerce

    Burlington, Mass. -- Demandware said Tuesday that Crabtree & Evelyn has re-launched  its U.S. e-commerce site, Crabtree-evelyn.com, on the Demandware Commerce platform. In addition, Crabtree & Evelyn is leveraging Demandware’s web design capabilities to extend the online shopping experience to smartphones and tablets.

    The 500+-store Crabtree & Evelyn also plans to use Demandware Commerce to support its global expansion strategy.
