  • Regency opens three new developments in Colorado and North Carolina

    Jacksonville, Fla. -- Regency Centers announced that it has opened three new grocery-anchored shopping centers totaling 263,000 sq. ft. over a 30-day period.

    The centers -- Market at Colonnade in Raleigh, N.C., Harris Crossing in Wake Forest, N.C. and NorthGate Village in Greeley, Colo. – represent a combined investment of $41 million.

    Market at Colonnade is a 57,503-sq.-ft. neighborhood center anchored by Whole Foods Market and includes 17,503 sq .ft. of additional retail space. Whole Foods Market opened March 16.

  • Report: Men’s Wearhouse to remodel 100 plus stores in 2011

    New York City -- Men’s Wearhouse will remodel more than 100 stores and open 20 to 30 new locations this year, Women’s Wear Daily reported.

    This marks a big increase from last year, when 35 stores were remodeled, the report said.

  • Timberland opens eco-friendly store in Boston

    Stratham, N.H. -- The Timberland Co. has opened its new Boston retail location, at 201 Newbury Street. Construction on the store — housed in the old Prince School building — began earlier this year.

  • Jones Lang LaSalle donates $1.25 million to Red Cross to aid Japan

    Chicago -- Jones Lang LaSalle today Thursday that the firm is donating $1.25 million to the Japanese Red Cross to provide aid and relief following the Japan earthquake and Pacific Tsunami that have left a path of destruction in their wake.

  • Additions planned for Legends Outlets Kansas City

    Kansas City, Kan. -- OTB Destination, LLC announced that Chico’s and Soma Intimates outlet concepts will open at Legends Outlets Kansas City in June. Both concepts are new to the region.

  • Advance Auto to open at Shoal Creek Mall

    Cambridge, Md. -- Tarrytown, N.Y.-based  DLC Management Corp. announced that Advance Auto will open an 8,125-sq.-ft. store at Shoal Creek Mall in Cambridge, Md.

    The retailer, which signed a 10-year with DLC, will join a newly opened Walgreens anchor at the 67,248-sq.-ft. shopping center.

    Advance Auto is slated to open this fall.

  • Yogurtland launches New Jersey rollout

    Plymouth Meeting, Pa. -- Fameco Real Estate, L.P. announced that Yogurtland has signed two leases in New Jersey to kick off its store roll-out program.

    The 120-unit yogurt chain will open a 1,300-sq.-ft. store at The Shoppes at Union Hill in Denville, N.J., and a 1,200-sq.-ft. store at Hamilton Marketplace in Hamilton, N.J.

    The stores are expected to open in late spring/early summer.
