Carson Pirie Scott to renovate Randhurst Village location

Mount Prospect, Ill. The Bon-Ton Stores announced its Carson Pirie Scott Randhurst Village store located in Mount Prospect, Ill., will undergo a two-year renovation to coincide with the redevelopment of Randhurst Village into an open-air, lifestyle center with retail, restaurants, entertainment and a hotel.

The three-level, 205,000-sq.-ft. store is slated for a complete remodel to complement the new look of the center. The project is scheduled to commence this summer and be completed in the fall 2010.

We believe the new lifestyle Randhurst Village will be a premiere retail center and very inviting for our customers in this market. We are also pleased that we will have the capacity to offer a greater selection of merchandise as a result of the renovation.

The Bon-Ton Stores operates 280 stores, including 12 furniture galleries, in 23 states in the Northeast, Midwest and upper Great Plains under the Bon-Ton, Bergner’s, Boston Store, Carson Pirie Scott, Elder-Beerman, Herberger’s and Younkers nameplates; In Detroit, it operates as Parisian.
