  • Cole acquires 11 PetSmart retail properties for $74 million

    Phoenix -- Cole Real Estate Investments said Monday that it has acquired a portfolio of 11 PetSmart retail properties for $74 million.

    The approximately 300,000-sq.-ft. triple-net leased portfolio is located in primary markets in California, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan and Texas. The 11 individual retail properties are leased to PetSmart, under one master lease, with an original 20-year lease term and approximately 10 years remaining, plus three automatic renewals for up to a total of 20 additional years.

  • SRS Real Estate announces new hire

    Dallas -- SRS Real Estate Partners said Tuesday it has hired Scott Ellsworth as a senior associate in the Phoenix office.

    Previously, Ellsworth worked for NAI Horizon.
     

  • Metro Commercial inks 7 Lumber Liquidator deals

    Mount Laurel, N.J. -- As part of its exclusive national representation of Lumber Liquidators, Metro Commercial announced that it has brokered seven leases totaling nearly 46,000 sq. ft. 

    In Georgia, an 8,468-sq.-ft. store in Kennesaw Landing and a 6,000-sq.-ft. store in Newnan opened in July. A 10,151-sq.-ft. store in West Allis, Wis., recently opened, as did a 5,200-sq.-ft. store at Palmetto Palms Business Park in Miami. A second Florida location opened in St. Petersburg earlier this year.

  • Shoe Carnival to open at Bardin Place Center

    Arlington, Texas -- Centro Properties Group US announced that Shoe Carnival will open a 10,210-sq.-ft. store at Bardin Place Center, located in Arlington, Texas. 

    Bardin Place Center is owned by Centro Properties, based in New York City.
     

  • Freebirds Burrito to open new restaurant in Fort Worth

    Dallas -- Cypress Equities said that Freebirds World Burrito has signed a lease to occupy a portion of a new development in Fort Worth, Texas, adjacent to the company’s West 7th development.

    The 2,370-sq.-ft. restaurant will mark the third Freebirds in Fort Worth, with other locations near Hulen Mall and at Alliance Town Center. Freebirds World Burrito is owned by Tavistock Restaurants and has more than 50 locations throughout Texas, California and Oklahoma.
     

  • Saks Off 5th announces five additional locations for 2012

    New York City -- Saks Inc.’s Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th announced the addition of five stores for 2012. The new stores will be located in upscale outlet, lifestyle, or strip centers.

    The new locations are in Merrimack, N.H., Syracuse, N.Y., Livermore, Calif., Grand Prairie, Texas, and Nashville. The Merrimack store will be the first Off 5th in New Hampshire, and the store in Nashville will be a replacement store for the one lost in the 2010 flood in Tennessee.

  • Banana Republic says Bonjour Paris

    PARIS — Gap Inc. has announced plans to open its first Banana Republic store in France in Paris in early December. Synonymous with culture, quality, heritage and style, the store will be , one of the most popular international shopping destinations in the world.

    The 15,952 sq. ft. Paris flagship store will be located on Avenue des Champs Élysées and will occupy more than two floors.
