CVS expands in St. Louis
Woonsocket, R.I. CVS Pharmacy is continuing its push in the St. Louis market with a new store planned to open in Creve Coeur, Mo.
CVS’ developer Cedarwood Development purchased 1.66 acres of vacant land in Creve Coeur for an undisclosed amount from the Koman Group. CVS received approvals from Creve Coeur officials for a nearly 13,000-sq.-ft. store at the site.
In January, CVS opened four stores in St. Louis. A location in Ballwin, Mo., is also planned to open this fall.
CVS currently has 46 stores in Missouri and 251 in Illinois.
