The program encourage people to take a selfie that isn’t as much about them but about giving back – such as pledging to do something to give back to their local community.

    Global confectionery, food and beverage conglomerate Mondelez International has promoted Dana Anderson to SVP and chief marketing officer.

    Anderson will be accountable for the company's global portfolio of advertising, media and marketing partners and oversee the teams responsible for agency relations, brand equity, brand strategy, marketing capabilities, media and digital for the company's global and regional power brands.

    In anticipation of the holiday shopping season, Amazon has introduced #AmazonWishList, which allows customers to add items to their Amazon Wish List without leaving Twitter.

    Customers who find Tweets with an Amazon.com product links will be able to add those products to their Amazon Wish List by replying on Twitter with #AmazonWishList.

    Washington, D.C. – Total Halloween spending will reach $7.4 billion. According to the National Retail Federation (NRF) Halloween Consumer Spending Survey conducted by Prosper Insights & Analytics, the average person will spend $77.52 this Halloween, compared to $75.03 the prior year.

    Skincare brand Olay has selected actress Katie Holmes as its first global brand ambassador. Holmes will represent the Olay global brand campaign “Your Best Beautiful.”

  • Amazon expands deal with Twitter to include ‘Wish List’

    Seattle -- Amazon.com is expanding its relationship with Twitter. Amazon’s new #AmazonWishList allows customers to add items to their Amazon Wish List without ever leaving Twitter.

    Customers who discover a Tweet from their favorite artist, expert, brand, or friend with an Amazon.com product link, can add “#AmazonWishList” to the reply on Twitter and the product is added to their Amazon Wish List.
