    Maybelline New York has named Yadim Carranza, known simply as Yadim, as the brand's global makeup artist. Yadim is lauded for his innovative editorial work and bold runway looks.  

    In his new role, Yadim will provide artistic vision for Maybelline New York makeup and become the voice of the brand to consumers, press and industry influencers.

  • Office Depot’s digital campaign celebrates teachers

    Office Depot has launched a digital campaign called “Teachers Change Lives. So Can You” to help raise awareness and funds for classroom supplies for teachers.

    As a thank you to these educators, Office Depot has partnered with AdoptAClassroom.org, a national organization dedicated to collecting and distributing funds to teachers, who in many cases use their own money to purchase classroom supplies to ensure each student has the tools to succeed.

  • Tina Fey tapped as skincare spokesperson for Garnier

    Garnier USA, a subsidiary of L'Oréal USA, has selected Tina Fey as the new spokesperson for Garnier Skincare. Fey, who has been the face of Garnier Nutrisse hair color since 2011, is featured in the brand’s new advertising campaign, which launched this month.

    Fey's endorsement spans the entire Garnier Ultra-Lift skincare line, including moisturizers, serums and eye products. The campaign will focus on a line of new, standout anti-aging products, including Ultra-Lift Transformer and Ultra-Lift Anti-Wrinkle Firming Night Cream.

    Office Depot has won an Internet Advertising Competition Award (IAC) for “Best Retail Social Media Campaign” from the Web Marketing Association.

    The award recognizes Office Depot’s innovative digital campaign supporting back-to-school with Office Depot’s “#Together Against Bullying” collaboration with the band One Direction.

  • Shoe Carnival partners with ‘Devious Maids’ for omni-channel campaign

    Evansville, Ind. -- Shoe Carnival Inc. is collaborating with the Lifetime show “Devious Maids” to further promote the company’s first national, integrated advertising campaign. Shoe Carnival’s national campaign with “Devious Maids” and new tagline “A Surprise in Store” will run on national cable with on-air, in-store and social support.

    The advertising campaign coincides with the season two premiere of the series “Devious Maids,” which will debut on April 20.

  • Chicken of the Sea names its mermaid after 60 years

    Since making her debut on Chicken of the Sea labels in 1952, the mermaid has remained nameless. But to mark its centennial this year, the seafood brand invited consumers to submit suggested names to christen the icon for a chance to win $10,000.

    Participants submitted more than 49,000 entries, the company confirmed. The winning name? Catalina.

    New York - Online video viewers, compared to non-online video viewers, are more frequent patrons of quick-service restaurants (QSR). A new study from video marketing platform Videology shows that those who watch video were 60% more likely to visit QSRs after hearing about a promotion or seeing an advertisement, regardless of the medium.
