    ASPEN, Colo. — Office Depot has announced its sponsorship of the 2013 X Games in Aspen. 

  • Kohl's donates $2M to educational center

    MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. — Kohl’s Corp. announced a $2 million donation to Discovery World in Milwaukee, over three years to continue support for Kohl’s Design It!, an educational program allowing kids to use advanced technology to turn design into reality. The donation comes from the Kohl’s Cares cause merchandise program which sells special merchandise, including plush toys and books, and donates 100% of the net profit to benefit children’s health and education initiatives nationwide.

  • Jewel-Osco celebrates Black History with Chicago events

    ITASCA, Ill. — Jewel-Osco announced that it is celebrating Black History Month this February with the company’s 14th annual “A Taste of Black History” program.

    The initiative will kick off with a VIP shopping event for customers on Jan. 24 at the Jewel-Osco at 1655 E. 95th St., in Chicago. “A Taste of Black History” customer tasting events will continue throughout February at select stores.

  • Westfield San Francisco Centre partners for Chinese New Year celebration

    San Francisco -- Westfield San Francisco Centre is partnering with the Asian Art Museum, Bloomingdale’s and M.Y. China to celebrate the Chinese New Year with music and dance performances, storytelling, live cooking demonstrations, zodiac readings and more – all launching in January.

  • Sylvania to keep lighting up NH track

    The New Hampshire Motor Speedway will be home to the Sylvania 300 NASCAR race for five more years following the renewal of a sponsorship agreement.

    North American lighting leader Osram Sylvania said it extended its title sponsorship of the race through 2017 with the operator of New Hampshire’s largest sports and entertainment facility. Osram Sylvania has sponsored the race for the past 10 years.

  • Hasbro and Tetris play nice

    PAWTUCKET, R.I. — Hasbro is bringing the Tetris video game brand into the world of face-to-face gaming.

    The Tetris Company, the exclusive licensor of the Tetris brand, has given Hasbro the green light to manufacture and globally market multiple face-to-face games based on the popular video game brand.

  • HSN and Disney walk down the yellow brick road

    ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Multi-channel retailer HSNi will collaborate with Disney to create an exclusive collection of fashions, jewelry, beauty and home accessories based on Walt Disney Studios' film “Oz the Great and Powerful.”

    To promote the collection and the film, HSN has developed a marketing campaign that includes a two-day live event viewable across all its platforms: TV, HSN.com and HSN mobile.

  • Lord & Taylor signs on as exclusive retail sponsor for 'Project Runway'

    New York - Lord & Taylor is teaming up with Lifetime's popular "Project Runway" television show for the program’s eleventh season, making it the show’s exclusive retail sponsor.

    As part of the sponsorship deal, the show will feature a custom-built “accessory wall” featuring an assortment of Lord & Taylor’s shoes, handbags and accessories, which contestants will use to complete their looks during each challenge.
